About Me | InfyNotes

Hi, I’m Nithya, the mom behind InfyNotes — writing for tired mothers.

I am a former QA engineer turned full-time mom, and InfyNotes began after countless late-night searches. I noticed that most advice focused on the baby, while very little addressed the mother who is healing, exhausted, and doing her best. This space is for calm guidance, practical steps, and gentle reassurance—especially during the hours that feel the longest.

After my baby was born, everyone asked about the baby—weight, sleep, and feeding. While those questions mattered, I was also healing and overwhelmed, and almost nobody asked, “How are you doing?”

— This is why InfyNotes exists.

My story: the version I wish someone had shared with me

Before motherhood, I worked in IT as a QA engineer. I relied on clear processes, checklists, and practical problem-solving. When my baby arrived, everything changed at once—and even the simplest routines felt new.

I stepped away from work to care for my baby full-time, and it felt like the right decision. What I did not anticipate was how emotionally and physically intense the early months can be, especially when support is limited and advice is overwhelming.

I was recovering from an episiotomy, and night feeds could be painful. My baby would not sleep unless held, and I heard conflicting guidance from every direction. Many nights felt like I was learning everything on my own.

InfyNotes is where I share what helped me—gently, honestly, and without judgment—so another mother searching at 2 a.m. feels less alone.

Over time, I also began freelancing again to rebuild my identity alongside motherhood. This blog is part of that rebuilding: a calm, practical space for mothers who want support that feels realistic and respectful.

What I write about (and why it’s different)

InfyNotes is not a strict parenting rulebook. It is the guide I needed—one that supports both the baby and the mother. I write about sleep, feeding, recovery, emotional well-being, and the quiet “Am I doing this right?” moments that often go unseen.

A few words for your heart on the hard days

You are not “behind.” You are not “failing.” You are learning someone completely new while healing your own body. That is strength.

The nights feel long, but they are not forever. One day you will sleep again — and you will miss the tiny weight that once rested on your chest.

— A reminder for 2 a.m. moments

A calm mother does not mean a perfect mother. It means a woman doing her best with the resources she has today.

You are allowed to grow slowly. You are allowed to rest. You are allowed to build your identity again, step by step.

— InfyNotes encouragement

Even on the days when you doubt yourself, your baby feels your love more than your fear.

My promise

I will not write only about the baby. I will also write about you—your questions, your recovery, and your strength—because your story matters too.
